Welcome to Sardinia

After immigration and baggage claim, your exemplar representative will meet you at the Airport Arrival Hall of Cagliari to drive you in comfort and style to your chosen accommodation right in the heart of Nebida.

Once you arrive at your Hotel meet your local guide for a brief and begin a sunset tour that ends at one of the best and legendary restaurant of the city.

Trek: 5 km, + 80 mt. – 80 mt., 3 hours

After breakfast, your guide will meet you at the lobby to depart for a tour of the the island of Sant’Antioco.

Start exploring the Grutti e the Acqua nuragic complex, one of the largest in Sardinia and continue visiting the tomb of the giants Su Niu ‘e Su Crobu. Pass through the Arco dei Baci and its natural pool deep least 5 meters.
At the end of this excursion, be enchanted by the private museum of Maestro Chiara Vigo, the last master of byssus, which preserves the art that has been handed down in her family for 28 generations.

Trek: 9 km, + 280 mt., – 250 mt., 4 hours

After breakfast, your guide will meet you at the lobby to depart for Fontanamare beach and the second day of trekking.

Reach one of the most significant examples of industrial archeology, the Nebida mine, Lamarmora station. A brick and stone processing station looks out over the coast of Masua and an integral component of the geo-mineral park of Sardinia, a heritage that has received UNESCO recognition.

Admire the five Faraglioni. The most impressive one is Pan di Zucchero (meaning Sugarloaf), a spectacular natural monuments symbol of the coast of Iglesias.

Continue the trekking through 400 steps to the center of Nebida, cross it and arrive in Porto Flavia, passing through Porto Ferro, Porto Corallo and Masua beach.

Walk through a tunnel approximately 600 metres long, dug out of the rock by the miners, that appears halfway up a cliff, offering a breathtaking view. The mine of Porto Flavia, on the promontory that dominates Masua, was a daring enterprise suspended between sky and sea, that made it possible to load minerals directly onto the ships, destined for the northern European foundries, drastically reducing time and cost of transportation.

Trek: 7 km, + 470 mt., – 230 mt., 4 hours

After breakfast, your guide will meet you at the lobby to depart for Masua and the third day of trekking.
Head towards Monte Nai and reach the Cala of Canal Grande. A little river valley meets the sea in a splendid bay full of caves, which opens up amidst the rocky cliffs bathed by the sea with its splendid hues. Beneath the rock faces to the north, in Punta Cubedda, there is the Grotta delle Spigole (Cave of the Sea Bass) that will dazzle you with the effects of the sunlight hitting the limestone eroded by the water.
Walk through a forest of junipers and arrive at Cala Domestica, a splendid bay framed by high cliffs and dominated by a Spanish tower, where mining history and wild nature merge into a fantastic scenery.

Trek: 12 km, + 500 mt., – 675 mt., 5 hours

After breakfast, your guide will meet you at the lobby to depart for the Temple of Antas (1 hour drive) and the fourth day of trekking.

The sanctuary was built far from the inhabited centers, in the middle of a valley dominated by the Conca s'Omu mountain. These ruins of the Temple of Antas are substantial and have reached the present day surrounded by nature, taking on the appearance of a silent Avalon in the springtime.

From here start for an easy walk that leads to the cave of Su Mannau, a karst cave dating back to 540 million years ago and still "living": the calcareous formations are constantly evolving. Step into the magic that lies under the ground in Iglesiente, from the red rocks, blue lakes, bright white stalactites and stalagmites to the sparkling transparency of the crystals.

Trek: 12 km, + 428 mt., – 424 mt., 6 hours

After breakfast, your guide will meet you at the lobby to depart for a wonderful trekking inside a WWF oasis.
With a private transfer reach the Capo Pecora promontory, an unspoilt, picturesque place, far away from everything. Capo Pecora is one of the gems of the Costa Verde and is on its southernmost extremity, in the territory of Arbus.
Start a simple, but suggestive trek that winds along mule tracks and paths that overlook the sea and crosses the nature reserve.
Arrive at the beach of Scivu, where you can hear the sound of the fine-grained sand as you walk on it. The coast of Arbus is a long series of immense beaches with sand dunes that plunge into the waters tinged with blue and emerald green.

The waterfalls of Villacidro

After breakfast, your guide will meet you at the lobby to depart for Villacidro and the sixth day of trekking.
‘’A sheet of water cuts through the rock and passes through a lush, scented forest.’’
It is the image that nature has painted around Villacidro, in the Medio Campidano area, embedding it in one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Sardinia, to the point that Gabriele D'Annunzio sang its praises in a sonnet composed during one of his visits to the Island in 1882.

Start the trek to the waterfalls Piscina Irgas and Muru Mannu. The first plunges into a deep pool with a water drop of approximately 45 metres and then begins to wind into the Mediterranean scrub as far as the Leni torrent; the second is the most awe-inspiring in Sardinia, with its major water drop approximately 70 metres high, and squeezed in between two sheer rock faces. It leads to a little lake surrounded by holm oaks and holly trees.
