Natural beauty.

Cogne is a genuine, characteristic mountain village with 1,500 inhabitants and lies at 1534 metres above sea level. The valley offers a wealth of natural beauty extending as far as the eye can see over meadows, crystal-clear streams and on towards snow-capped peaks. All of this makes the village an ideal place for both summer and winter tourism. Cogne Valley is considered the capital of the National Park, created in 1922 when Savoy King Vittorio Emanuele III donated his legendary hunting reserve to the country. The Gran Paradiso is Italy's oldest national park and offers a home for many rare species of animal, plants and flowers within a splendid Alpine setting.

Visit of the Valley of Rhemes and Valsavarenche, two suggestive valleys for their beauty with the possibility of walking along the mountains and sighting chamois and ibex.
Along the way you can visit the museum of Pope John Paul II in Les Combes of Introd. Or for the boys in Introd you can visit the Parc Animalier where all the species of mountain animals are present with which the little ones can interact.
Valle di Rhemes: destinations of interest for this valley are the Benevolo Refuge, located near the head of the valley, on the edge of the National Park. Easy to reach is a walk suitable for adults and children. And the Pellaud Lakes are also evocative and easy to reach, equipped with a picnic area where you can stop and enjoy the fresh air and the view.

Visit Gressoney Saint Jean, possibility to visit the Savoia Castle, the regional museum of the Alpine Fauna and reach Gressoney la Trinitée.

The only town in Italy that can only be reached via cable car

Chamois is a peaceful place at an altitude of 1815 metres, in the middle of the Cervino Valley, on the left bank of the Marmore river.
Chamois is the highest town in Valle d’Aosta and one of the highest in Italy.
The town can only be reached via cable car departing from Buisson, a hamlet in Antey-Saint-André, there is also a mule track that can be covered in around two hours, that takes you to Chamois on foot or by bicycle.
There are no cars in this town: the town has preserved all the characteristics of a small Alpine village with houses in wood and stone and the small roads that wind through it. This unusual aspect is jealously defended by its inhabitants, who appreciate the benefits in terms of tranquility and are quite happy to live in relative isolation.
Chamois offers tourists who discover it, the opportunity to enjoy a unique holiday, far from the usual places, in a truly exceptional location, in contact with nature and in complete peace and quiet.
In winter, the ski facilities offer various kinds of downhill descents, with beautiful slopes covering more than 16 kilometres.
The Alpine ski excursion from Colle di Falinère to Valtournenche is particularly interesting.
