Abu Dhabi the new hub for the arts

Breakfast at the hotel in Dubai. Enjoy a private transfer to Abu Dhabi with a complimentary half-day private guided tour. Abu Dhabi will reveal the city’s architectural landmarks including the magnificent Sheikh Zayed Mosque, the opulent Qasr Al Watan Palace, dhow harbour and date souq. You’ll also have the opportunity to join a guided visit to The Louvre Abu Dhabi where the unique galleries are almost outshone but the 21st architectural masterpiece of Jean Nouvel.

After leisure and cultural at Abu Dhabi, a two-hour drive will then take you into the startlingly beautiful world of the Rub al Khali (Empty Quarter) desert. Here, in the most extensive sandy desert on the planet, your base for the next two nights will be the luxurious Anantara Qasr Al Sarab, an Arabian Nights style ‘fantasy’. While staying in Abu Dhabi’s Empty Quarter, there is a wide range of optional desert activities including falconry, 4WD drives, desert walks, and mountain biking. Alternatively, choose to relax and unwind, visit the Anantara spa, swim, and enjoy the magical and ever-changing landscapes from the comfort of your room.
