7 nights

The Constance Belle Mare Plage Resort offers one of the most spectacular beaches on the island, a wide range of restaurants and bars, four swimming pools and the Ymalia pavilion spa. The resort is also a paradise for golfers, with two 18-hole courses covering 140 hectares. Spoil yourself with the choice: the outstanding natural scenery will provide an exciting backdrop to top-notch facilities.

The teardrop-shaped Mauritius island, close to the Tropic of Capricorn, is home to Creoles, Indians, Chinese, Malagasy and Franco-Mauritians, who have always lived peacefully together. On the east coast of the island, the resort boasts a two-kilometre stretch of sand that caresses the sea; a mosaic of colours, where the whiteness of the sand contrasts with the bright green of the vegetation and the blue of the seabed. Comfortable accommodation, furnished in wood and marble and equipped with a sea view terrace, relaxation area, air conditioning, satellite TV, internet connection, apple mini mac, mini bar and safe.

This human melting pot is mirrored by the natural one, with high plateaus covered in rainforests and tea and sugar cane plantations, volcanic mountains, ivory-coloured beaches dotted with casuarinas and the island's diadem, its sea, which is very calm thanks to the presence of a coral reef.

The coastline's charm is the main attraction of Mauritius: snorkel or dive, sail on a catamaran or schooner and don't miss Aigrettes Island, a former British military base that the Mauritius Wildlife Foundation has turned into a nature reserve. But you'll also love the hinterland: the 18th-century botanical gardens of Pamplemousses with its two-metre water lilies, the capital Port Louis with its spice market, the Trou aux Cerfs crater in Curapipe, the Chamarel park, where the earth takes on reddish colours, and the Rochester waterfalls that cascade through the fields.
