ItineraryDAY 1 - ARRIVAL
Welcome to Costa Rica
Arrive and transfer to the Hotel in Pacuare River.
DAY 2 - PACUARE RIVER
Rafting
Explore the banks of one of the world’s most scenic, white-water wonders, the Pacuare River of Costa Rica. This unparalleled location, with its vibrant nature, offers a scenic backdrop to adventure and wellness. Experience the whitewater magic as you discover the excitement of thrilling rapids coursing through rugged canyons and verdant tropical rainforests on one of the most exotic and scenic rivers in the world. This adrenaline-pumping excursion takes you through class-III and -IV rapids, past spectacular landscapes, under tumbling cascades, and all the way to the town of Siquirres.
DAY 3, 4, 5 - ARENAL REGION
Hike
Explore the majestic Arenal Volcano, one of the youngest, still active volcanoes in this hemisphere, an imposing mountain that dominates the landscape of the area. Arenal is also the premier adventure destination in Costa Rica: With 30% of the land area protected by national parks, wildlife refuges, and preserves, this land hiking reveals a variety of well-marked trails for the adventurer. Hike through primary rainforests, lava flows and pull yourself up the side of the volcan. This hike gives you extraordinary views on one of the trails close to the volcano. You’ll venture through the forest over recent lava flows, and see the area that was destroyed in 1968 and is still in the process of regenerating. Although Arenal Volcano is now in a resting phase, there are still places around the volcano that show evidence of damage from lava flows.
DAY 6, 7, 8 - SANTA TERESA & MAL PAIS
Surf
Located in one of the world’s seven Blue Zones and nestled between surf-destination Santa Teresa to the north and the Cabo Blanco Nature Preserve to the south, Mal Pais is quaint, bohemian and eclectic. Mal País is home to some of the best surfing swells in the world. It remains pure and unaffected, true to its core. And part of that core is surfing. Consistent waves and killer surf breaks have put Mal País on every waveriders short list.
DAY 9, 10 - CORCOVADO NATIONAL PARK
Kayak & Horse Riding
The Osa Peninsula is a serene paradise in Costa Rica that provides an untouched place for nature-lovers and adventurers. With an abundance of wildlife and jungle, there are few places left in the world that compare. Spend the day on a leisurely paddle out the rivermouth to the ocean and along the beautiful coast or ride through primary rainforest or along empty beaches.
DAY 11 - MANUEL ANTONIO NATIONAL PARK
Bike
After breakfast join a private biking day tour to Manuel Antonio National Park. The surrounding mountains and jungles of Quepos and Manuel Antonio National Park provide a perfect setting for every mountain bike riding level. Explore hidden waterfalls, traverse steamy jungle paths and thrill at glorious coastal vistas from the mountains above. This is a great opportunity to spy out some of the elusive rainforest creatures as you bike with naturalist cyclists – they know exactly how to spot the shyer wildlife!
Day 6/7/8 SANTA TERESA & MAL PAIS
