Experience
ExperienceDAY 1 Arrival
The flight to Paro offers breathtaking view of the mighty Himalayas.
On the arrival at Paro International Airport, complete your visa formalities and you will be received by your representative, who will accompany you for the tour.
Visit to the Holy and sacred Kyichu Lhakhang, which is also the oldest monastery in the Kingdom of Bhutan.
DAY 2 Thimphu
Drive to Simtokha Dzong for the pre-wedding photo shoot and do other sightseeing such as visiting Memorial Chorten and Kuenselphodrang. Visit the astrologer to calculate a good time for marriage ceremony.
DAY 2 Thimphu
After breakfast, drive to one of the monasteries for wedding ceremony. Grooms and bride will be dressed into their best attire for the ceremony. The couple will sit in the temple in a special designated area while the monks perform religious ceremony. After the ceremony, the couple will receive a blessing and the wedding ends with a small gathering for tea and snacks. Drive back to hotel.
DAY 4 Punakha
After breakfast, drive towards Punakha with a short stop at Dochula. Visit Druk Wangyal Monastery and see the 108 stupa (monument) Proceed drive. Punakha is the old capital of Bhutan and the winter residence of Monks bodies. Visit Punakha Dzong.
DAY 5 Punakha
This morning, drive to hike the beautiful and breathtaking Khamsum Yuelley Monastery perched on a hill in Northern side of Punakha valley. Also visit the Chimi Lhakhang “the temple of fertility” for the blessing. After lunch, drive to Thimphu or Paro.
DAY 6 Taksang Hike
This morning, we will drive to the trail route of the famous Taktsang Lhakhang “The Tigers Lair”. This monastery is one of the holiest and the most beautiful site of Bhutan.
DAY 7 Departure
Drive to airport where our guide will bid farewell to your trip back home and hoping that you take a beautiful memory of our country.
